Dr Kristen Savvakis helps people move through life with less pain and more confidence.
Her journey with Brisbane Posture and Performance started long before she became a Brisbane chiropractor. While completing her chiropractic degree, Kristen worked as the clinic manager, seeing firsthand how thoughtful care could change someone’s day, their movement, and sometimes their whole outlook on health. Watching patients walk in stiff, sore, and frustrated — then leave weeks later standing taller and moving freely — confirmed that this was the work she wanted to do.
Born and raised in Brisbane, Dr Kristen has been mentored by two highly experienced ABC chiropractors in the city. That experience shaped the way she practises today: careful assessment, practical treatment, and care that fits the person, not just the symptom.
Kristen works with patients of all ages. Some arrive with headaches from long days at a desk. Others are dealing with back pain, poor posture, or stiffness that has slowly built up over time. Her focus is simple — understand what is happening in the body and help restore natural movement.
At Brisbane Posture and Performance, care begins with a detailed examination and digital posture analysis. This allows both practitioner and patient to clearly see what is happening and what needs to change. Treatment often includes guided stretches and full-body adjustments when clinically appropriate, working through the spine as well as the joints that support it.
The clinic’s unique postural technique looks deeper than the immediate pain. It considers injury history, lifestyle and the body’s mechanical age, creating a personalised treatment plan designed to help patients move well again.
For Kristen, the most rewarding moments are the simple ones — when a patient says they slept through the night without pain, returned to sport, or realised they could move more freely than they had in years.
That’s the work she cares about.
Helping people get back to living well.
